Lily D. Duran, 85, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Friday, April 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Lily was born in Santa Rita, NM, on May 10, 1937 to her parents Luis and Martha (Ogas) Delgado Sr.  

Lily was a very respected and loved member of our community. She worked most of her life in the banking industry and helped countless people to reach their dreams of buying homes and businesses.  She was a loving and caring person who always enjoyed people and called them her friend. Her service to her church and ministry was always first in her life because of her love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Family and friends were very important to her. She will be deeply missed by all who have known her. Thanks to all for prayers and support in her last days.

She is survived by her son, Alex Duran, Jr. of Silver City, NM; her daughter, Norma D. Flores of Silver City, NM; her brothers, Luis Delgado, Jr., David Delgado (Barbara); her sisters, Nora Sedillos, Teresa Galindo and Carol Montes; her brother-in-law Gilbert Ramos Sr.; her sister-in-law, Lucille Delgado and Rachel Delgado; her grandchildren, Ray Duran, Efrem Duran, Bill A. Flores, Eric D. Flores; her Great-Grandchildren, Raymond Duran, Marissa Flores, Keianna Flores and Michael Flores; her Great-Grand-Child ,Ezekiel Flores Gajon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Richard “Chapo” Delgado, Moises Delgado, and Joe Delgado; her sister Genevieve Ramos; her daughter-in-law, Yolanda Duran; her sister-in-law Mary Delgado; her brothers-in-law, Neil Sedillos, Manuel Galindo, Sr. and Benny Montes.  

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10:00am held at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Luis Ruiz officiating. The inurnment will take place at a later date.
