Carolyn Ann Vasquez, 82, Deming resident entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 7, 2023 in El Paso, TX.

Carolyn was born March 21, 1941 in Austin, MN to Lawrence Eugene Schilling and Anna Elizabeth Holzapfel. She was a very happy, loving, and caring person to all. She loved her family very much, including her dogs. Carolyn enjoyed watching her game shows and soap operas. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family whom adored her life.

Survivors include her 2 daughters Sandra and Theresa Vasquez; 3 siblings Jerry Schilling, Nancy Holstead and Pat Sullivan, 8 grandchildren which included a grandson who was very close to her, Chris Vasquez, and her 5 great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Anna Schilling; her spouse Cristobal Vasquez; a son Michael Schilling and 2 brothers Robert and David Schilling.

As per her wishes cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Cristobal.
