Jack Owens, 75, a resident of Mimbres, NM entered eternal rest Friday, December 15, 2023 at his residence.  He was born April 7, 1948 in Denver, CO to Rollie Owens and Ella N. Bailey.

Jack and his wife were together for 49 years.  Jack was a coal miner then he and Mary ran an outfitting business in Rico, Colorado. After selling the business, Jack started pipeline construction then became a pipeline inspector until his retirement.  They moved to the Mimbres Valley in 2002 and made many new friends.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Owens of the family home; his son, Levi Owens and wife Kelly of Alamosa, CO; his daughter, Erin Owens of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Jade and Jack Owens; his sister, Jeannie Coulter and husband Chuck of Denver, CO.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Ella Bailey Owens.
