Gloria Delgado Jurado, 75, of Silver City passed away January 8, 2024 in Las Cruces, NM.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at Ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.  The Funeral Liturgy will follow immediately thereafter.  The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Cemetery.  Serving as casket bearers will be Devon Jurado, Richard Romero, Sam Jurado, Richard Jurado, Danny Jurado Jr., and Nathaniel Jurado.

Gloria was born July 8, 1948 in Silver City, NM to Marcos and Ermelinda Delgado.  She had worked for a time as a housekeeper at the Palace Hotel in downtown Silver City.  She loved to go shopping and go on her daily walks.  Most recently she spent her time at home with her family.  Gloria was also a member of the Roman Catholic Church. 

Gloria is survived by her husband, Elfido; three sons, Manuel (Maria) Jurado, Danny Jurado and Sammy (Darla) Jurado; two daughters, Celia Jurado and Christina (Lawrence) Pacheco.; one brother, Jimmy (Rebecca) Delgado; three sisters, Mary Orrantia, Nellie Delgado and Olivia Lujan.  Also surviving Gloria are 22 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcos and Ermelinda Delgado and a son, Richard Jurado.
