Joe Biden was giving a campaign speech last week in which he said "Are you ready to choose freedom over democracy?" You're darn right I am. Democracy is not truly freedom. Democracy is an illusion of freedom that ends when you hold a minority opinion. That ends when the majority thinks that you're rights are secondary. A Federal Republic, which I believe Joe Biden's handlers do not want, protects the rights of minorities.

He also tweeted or more correctly someone tweeted on his behalf, that women are making great strides in sports. Yet they are still paid less than their male counterparts. It's time that we gave our daughters the same opportunities that men have. You mean like not allowing biological males to compete against them? Of course he was talking about equity and not equality of opportunity. The women have the same opportunity but their sports are in relative infancy on a professional level compared to those of men's sports. The women are making strides towards increasing revenue because they are becoming more popular with fans. Caitlin Clark will sign one of the richest promotional contracts in WNBA history. That is proof that they have equality of opportunity. Let them continue to take advantage of that opportunity.

Investigators have released the contents of the black box on the ship that hit the bridge in Boston. It proves that they did have auxiliary power that would have allowed them to continue steering the ship. In fact the audio recording proves that they were using auxiliary power to steer the ship and call for assistance. But almost 2 minutes of audio and visual recording is missing. They aren't sure why. It could be a legitimate glitch in the system or temporary loss of power. It also could be more nefarious. This is why conspiracy theories gain traction.

A Walmart shopper posted a video on social media in which she weighed two packages of chicken on a scale in the produce department. Each of the packages of chicken had a sticker which stated the weight of each package was just over 4 lbs. The price was the weight per pound times that weight. She put both packages of chicken on the produce scale and each of them was barely over 2 lbs. I'll let you know what my investigation reveals.

I have a new name for the far-left progressives. I'm going to start calling them the 'meme brigade,' because that seems to be where they get all of their information. I have several friends and acquaintances who post these types of memes attacking Christians, Republicans, conservatives, and Donald Trump regularly. At least 2/3 of the time I point out that the information contained in their meme is factually incorrect. But they continue doing the same thing because it makes them feel better. They think emotionally, so when something makes them feel better, especially if it is amusing to them, they will support it.

Speaking of which, I have seen quite a few memes from these same people lambasting the rich for not paying their fair share of taxes. Even though people like Mark Cuban just wrote a check for over $300 million to the IRS and Elon Musk paid several billion dollars in federal taxes. When this was pointed out the only response I got was that he paid less than 4.5% of the value of his assets. Federal taxes are paid upon income, not net worth at this point. That didn't get a response which I did not expect to get. I'm sure the individual is off looking at unicorns, butterflies, and rainbows Since my fax probably hurt his feelings.

The Biden crime family does use their multiple corporations for legitimate purposes or should I say legally allowed purposes. Although questionable, Joe and Jill have funneled their income from speaking engagements, book deals, and other legitimate sources of income, through their multiple corporations in order to avoid taxes on things like Social Security or Medicare. Since 2018 they have avoided paying $523,000 in taxes that you and I have to pay all the time. Not surprisingly, there's not a peep out of the meme brigade.
