Albuquerque, NM - Democrat Senate Boss Michael Sanchez has received $1,000 from late-term abortion doctor Curtis Boyd, who has been profiting from the dismemberment of unborn children since before Roe v. Wade was decided.
Curtis Boyd, who started performing abortions while it was still illegal to do so in Texas, has admitted that he knows that he's killing human beings, but this does not cloud his conscience. He currently performs third-trimester abortions in Albuquerque, and specifically advertises his services for mothers whose unborn children have disabilities.
"Boyd's work is horrific, and to know that he's a part of the re-election campaign of Michael Sanchez is just one more reason not to support him," said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. "Sanchez is terribly out of touch with his constituents on the issue of life, and the fact that a grisly practitioner of abortion like Boyd will eagerly fund his campaign is only further evidence of that fact."
Sanchez and the Democrats he leads in the Senate have repeatedly killed pro-life legislation, including bans on the kind of late-term abortion that Boyd performs in New Mexico.
"Sanchez has repeatedly sided with radical abortion doctors over the will of his constituents," said Keene. "The people of New Mexico and of Valencia County do not want late term abortion to be legal here. But late-term abortion doctors do, and they know Sanchez will do their bidding if they fund his campaign."
