Stephanie Smith and Van Smith, both long time members of the UUFSC, will lead an interactive exploration of the nature of atheism, as well as the fear and other attitudes that surround it. Stephanie Smith is retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and lives near Pinos Altos. She holds an MS in Organization Development from The American University. Van Smith, after a meandering life and career, retired from the U.S. government as a General Engineer and lives at Burro Mountain Homestead. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and also attended Murray State University and the University of New Mexico, majoring in Fine Art. There will be coffee and conversation after the service. Visitors are welcome.
