Laura Ramnarace will share her personal story on civil resistance. She has spoken on this topic to a few other groups as well as teaching a full day workshop at ABQ Peace and Justice Center in April. This Sunday will also have children’s programming centered on the Unitarian Universalist Second Principle: That All People Should be Treated Fairly and Kindly. The service will include a Story for All Ages, which is a traditional UU practice of using stories to bring to life UU Principles for the entire congregation. Young members will participate in the service such as ringing the bell to begin service or assisting to light the Chalice. For the youngest, there are several activity bags that contain coloring sheets, wikki stix, and other items to help them pass the time before they participate in a planned activity. There will be coffee and conversation after the service and all visitors are welcome.
