SUNDAY EVENING...


THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* EVENT: SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE GILA
  WITH STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL BETWEEN 6 AND 10 INCHES ABOVE 7500
  FEET.

* TIMING: RAIN SHOWERS ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE GILA WILL
  TURN OVER TO SNOW BY SATURDAY MORNING. SNOWFALL WILL CONTINUE
  INTO SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS.

* IMPACT: ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW PACKED AND SLIPPERY WITH
  ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED IN MODERATE
  TO HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS.

* WINDS: EAST WINDS WILL BLOW AT SPEEDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WITH
  HIGHER GUSTS POSSIBLE THROUGH MOUNTAIN PASSES AND ALONG WEST
  FACING SLOPES.

* SNOW LEVELS: SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP FROM AROUND 8000 FEET TO NEAR
  6500 FEET BY SATURDAY NIGHT.
