Sunday's Service at the UUFSC

This Sunday, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City, 3845 North Swan Street, at 10 a.m. Gary Emerson will speak to us on The Mystery of the Owl.
The native people of North America, especially in the west and southwest, have long believed that owls escorted the souls of deceased people to the next life. This escort often involved a visit by the owl to people close to the departed person. We will explore some of the mythology from the past and then recount some recent experiences that indicate that there is a true mystery to these beliefs. Recent second and first-hand accounts of owl encounters after death, including a scientific experiment, will be discussed.

Please join us. There will be coffee and conversation, with light refreshments, after the service.
