owner of Enchanted Trails Plumbing
On February 10, 2017 in a cold snap the Silver City Woman's Club's baseboard heating boiler went kaput. The SC Woman's Club Weil-Maclain boiler was installed in 2008 and was thought to have a 10 year warranty. Dale Lane of Keenan Supply intervened for the club with the boiler company, but in the end they refused to honor the warranty. The boiler tank had cracked and rusted out, parts for repair weren't available because the model was discontinued. The club members were disappointed to learn that their boiler which should have lasted for 20 years or so didn't even last 10 years.

The Silver City Woman's Club was left with no choice but to purchase a new heating boiler and have it installed. Again with the help of Dale Lane from Keenan Supply a new boiler was purchased and would arrive in three to four weeks.

Meanwhile the SC Woman's Club Board of Directors were called to many fact-finding meetings and requests for quotes were issued to install the new boiler. After reviewing the quotes, the Board of Directors made a recommendation to the general membership. During the club's March membership meeting, the recommendation was discussed and it was agreed to award the installation contract to David L. Anderson owner of Enchanted Trails Plumbing.

The Club's boiler saga seemed to be moving along with the installation being scheduled for the week of April 17. Once more Dale Lane from Keenan Supply helped the club by delivering the boiler. It took a lot of man power but it was finally placed into its new resting spot and is currently being hooked up.

The Silver City Woman's Club thanks Dale Lane for his time on the old boiler's warranty issues, for providing the club with his heating boiler expertise and helping to make the lengthy process bearable.
