I'm Dr. Shelby Bradberry from Advanced Veterinary Care and Surgical Center here in Silver City. My husband, Dr. Britton Bradberry, and I started our practice here from the ground up in 2014. We built a successful practice, providing advanced, up-to-date, "big city"-type medicine for our patients and clients, at an affordable price. However, COVID put us in a position where we had to rely heavily on our out-of-town clients who were still coming for advanced surgery, so we closed general practice doors in late 2021.

We recently hired Dr. Tiffany Pierce, who is now seeing patients for general practice needs. This means we are able to provide wellness visits, vaccinations, microchips, spays and neuters, dentals, and all the other services that come with general practice. We have digital radiography, an ultrasound, dental equipment similar to human dentistry, hospitalization with IV fluids and care, and so much more. We named our clinic "Advanced" for a reason. We are so happy (as are our clients) to provide the Southwest these services at an affordable price.

My husband is exceptionally experienced in advanced orthopedic surgery, such as fracture repair, groove replacement for luxating kneecaps, and has performed more TTA-2 surgeries for ACL tears in dogs than anyone else in the world. He often teaches at Movora (the inventor company of the TTA-2) conferences in Boston, teaching the TTA-2 to other veterinarians. Veterinarians from all of the surrounding states and farther refer surgeries to him. He is also very experienced in soft tissue surgery that most general practitioners are not comfortable doing.

I had to stop seeing patients due to COVID because my children were not in school at all or were home half the week. However, with the addition of our diagnostic CT (CAT Scan), I began seeing patients for CT scans, referred from all over New Mexico and Arizona. We have one of three veterinary CT machines in the state.
