According to Rebecca Martin of Silver City Arts and Cultural District three exhibits will show at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center in Silver City through Labor Day.
An exhibit of San Lorenzo Elementary School student artwork based on photos of the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is on display. Marilyn Markel of the Grant County Archaeological Society, standing among the works, facilitated the student work, which was led by Leslie Crumbley, Cobre Schools art teacher.
The Grant County Rolling Stones have an exhibit of Grant County mineral and fossil specimens from Royal Scepter Gems and Minerals to promote the Gem and Mineral Show taking place Sept. 3-5 at the Western New Mexico University Intramural Gym. The Southwest Print Fiesta, hosted by Mimbres Region Arts Council, which is represented by clay monoprints, will take place mostly on Yankie Street Saturday, Sept. 3, from noon to 11 p.m.
