The Downtown Silver City Mainstreet Project and AmBank hosted a free concert by the Illusion Band and a festival celebrating Día los Muertos on Friday, November 2, in Downtown Silver City. The street dance was lined with fire barrels to warm up in the cool night. Día los Muertos puppets danced with public and little ones had the opportunity to participate in a costume contest. A public altar was set up to remember those lost and a reading of "Calaveras" ended the evening.
