Caller requests check on two adults and two children from El Paso who were supposed to set up camp at the Mesa Campground. Caller has not heard from them in over 5 hours.

Disturbance
Highway 180 – Arenas Valley
Caller advised a domestic is in progress and advised he heard what sounded like a gunshot and a lot of yelling by a male and a female. Deputy made contact and advised it was their two pitbulls that were fighting and one is bleeding from the head.

Harassment
Rio de Arenas Road
Caller advised a first-named female and her kids keep harassing caller and her kids.

Saturday, Aug. 30

Welfare check
Silver City
Caller advised she saw a person lying on the ground. Advised she only saw legs and a black hoodie. Deputy made contact on Canal Street and determined the subject was drunk and passed out. Subject was checked out by EMS and deputy gave him a ride.

NM Game and Fish
U.S. 180 near mile marker 108-109
Fawn is injured laying right in the middle of the road. Fawn was removed.

Hot Springs Canyon Road – Lower Mimbres
Caller advised she is trying to get a horse belonging to a friend and she is being harassed by a named male. Deputy made contact.

Unwanted subject
Rio de Arenas Valley Road
Caller advised a named male is talking nonsense such as "He is Jesus Christ" and is possibly having a mental breakdown. Deputy advised she had contact with male and he said he won't go back and is higher than a kite. Male was transported by EMS voluntarily.

Caller advised she has located her mother's stolen property being sold at the flea market.

Domestic disturbance
Mobile Drive
Caller advised he can hear his neighbors fighting again. Deputy made contact and the male will be leaving.

Welfare check
Truck Bypass Road
Caller advised a 65-year-old named male is suicidal. Deputy requested ambulance for a 67-year-old male – no lights or sirens.

Suspicious vehicle
Highway 90 – Tyrone
Caller advised she was walking on 90 and a male stopped and asked if she wanted a ride. When she answered "No" the driver pulled a knife and she ran away.

Domestic disturbance
Camino Tolteca
Caller advised a couple are yelling and cussing at each other. Deputy determined negative on a physical domestic and the male left prior to arrival.

Battery
Bobwhite Drive
Caller advised a first-named female hit caller in her face. Caller advised she does not need an ambulance. Deputy determined caller was highly intoxicated and had left prior to deputy's arrival.

Sunday, Aug. 31

Fight
Little Walnut Road
Caller advised it sounds like 2 males fighting and one is just screaming. Deputy determined it was a verbal altercation at a party.

Hot Springs Canyon Road – Lower Mimbres
Caller advised a first-named male is not returning her niece's horse and is now refusing to give it to her. Deputy made contact.

Domestic disturbance
Rio de Arenas Trailer Park
Caller advised her husband is being a jerk and they are verbally fighting about money. Deputy advised it was verbal only and spoke with both parties.

Monday, Sept. 1

Welfare check
Moonshine Lane
Caller advised she is worried because she hasn't heard from her husband who left to scout for elk in Catron County.

NM Game and Fish
N. Swan Street
A large bear was reported in a tree in the 4200 block of Swan Street. Deputies advised NMG&F who were enroute to location.

Domestic disturbance
Bill Evans Lake
Caller advised he needs to get his car and gun from a named female on Ridge Road. Deputy requested ambulance for 30-year-old female complaining of neck pain. No lights or siren.

Injuring/tampering with motor vehicle
Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised sugar was poured all over her vehicle, and it also was put in the gas tank, and also keyed.

Highway 15 – Signal Peak
Caller advised a group of motorcycles are blocking the roadway. Deputies had negative contact.

Domestic disturbance
D Street
Caller advised two named females are causing problems. Deputy made contact and advised one of the females to keep the peace in the area.

Caller advised her 14-year-old daughter went to her godmother's house and they do not want to give her back.

Welfare check
Cottage San Road and Branding Iron Trail
Male advising on 911 that he thought he needed to be taken to GRMC but would not give his location, then disconnected the line. Dispatch called back and male picked up, but male disconnected again. Subject called 911 again.

Domestic disturbance
Bornite Court – Tyrone
Caller advised her daughter is very drunk and trying to jump out of a moving vehicle.

Welfare check
Cottage San Road
Caller advised she can hear someone screaming and crying on Emerald Drive. Second caller advised he can hear a female yelling. Deputies made contact.

Request officer
Grant County Airport
Caller advised about 20 miles west of the airport there was a laser illumination. Advised if deputies had contact with anyone they want a call back. Deputy had negative contact with any laser at this time.
