Vol Center camp resizedRecCenter resizedJoin us as we dedicate the latest mural projects of the Mimbres Region Arts Council (MRAC) Youth Mural Program on Sunday, August 2, at 1:00 pm at The Volunteer Center, 501 East 13th Street and 3 pm at the Silver City Recreation Center, 1016 N. Silver Street

Nineteen campers, four interns, and two artists spent two weeks at Mural Summer Camp creating a mural mosaic on the oven wall at the Volunteer Center.

For the MRAC's most recent Comcast Cares Day event, over 10,000 community members got involved making clay tiles for the front wall of the Volunteer Center. These tiles have been glazed and installed by Aldo Leopold YCC students and grouted by campers.
