Criminal damage to property
Old Fort Bayard
Caller advised that two vehicles, a red Mustang and a gold GMC pickup, are at old Fort Bayard and they just broke a window of the building and are starting to leave.

Domestic disturbance
Pheasant Drive
Caller advised that in a trailer next door a male is beating up the woman and she is crying. Deputy made contact and advised that both parties stated they were not arguing but waiting for a ride to court. Another deputy was advised to check house at the end of the street.

Harassment
Little Walnut Picnic Grounds
Caller advised that a Hispanic male was harassing them relative to a road-rage incident that occurred near the picnic grounds. Advised that the male blocked them off and was verbally harassing them. Deputies had negative contact.

Larceny
Highway 152 – Hanover water well
Pipe and water are being stolen.

Reckless driver
Highways 152 and 180
Deputy advised out with three subjects at the Outpost having them pick up trash/clear/males picked it up and hopefully take it to the dump.

Welfare check
Buckboard Lane
Caller advised that she can hear a female screaming for help. Deputy advised that they are having a small party/they are in a pool/adults are present/advised them to keep it down a bit.

Unwanted subject
Rio de Arenas Road
Caller advised that a named male is in her house again and she wants him out. Advised that he is high on paint.

Loud music
Mobile Drive
Deputy had negative contact.

Domestic disturbance
Western Drive
Caller advised that they are having a dispute and she needs help right away. Deputy out at address.

Tuesday, July 28

Burglary
Silver City Golf Course
Caller advised that windows and skylights were broken/unknown if entry was made.

Weapons fired
Spring Street
Caller advised gun shots were heard. Second caller advised that three sets of shots were heard – first about 5, second about 10, and third about 15. Deputy advised out with vehicle.

Welfare check
Highway 35 – Rocking Spear Ranch Road
Deputy en route as his family has not been able to get in contact with him.

Disturbance
Box Canyon Road – Cliff
Caller advised that the neighbor is drinking and causing problems with caller’s daughter. Deputy advised would be en route as soon as he was clear.

Welfare check
Chukar Drive
Caller advised that her daughter has been crying. Deputy advised contact was made/cancel this assist.

Harassment
Arenas Valley Road
Caller advised that a male attempted to run over her son who was walking, but her son is OK. Deputy advised that caller is more worried about her windows being broken by the male.

Disturbance
Box Canyon Road – Cliff
Caller advised that a named male with mental problems is outside screaming and yelling and shooting a .22. Second caller advised that a male who has been drinking is shooting his .22. Deputy advised out at the Box Canyon address/clear.

Harassment
Meadow Hawk Lane
Caller advised that he is receiving prank calls and is upset about it. Deputy tried calling the number but got no answer.

Wednesday, July 29

Reckless driver
W. Highway 180 – MM 103
Officer advised that a female in a green sedan cannot maintain its lane on Highway 180 headed toward Silver. Advised that he cannot stop it as he has an arrest with him. Deputy advised out at traffic stop with a dark green Toyota Camry on Highway 180 near American Mobile Home Park/driver did not seem to be impaired and there was no smell of alcohol/clear.

Intoxicated driver
Highway 180 – MM 128
Deputy advised negative contact/advised Luna County.

Breaking and entering
Cullum Road
Caller advised that an unknown person attempted to break into their garage again last night.

Burglary
Slag Street
Caller advised of a burglary at a vacant lot at the end of Mobile Drive. Deputy set up frequent patrol for the next month.

Thursday, July 30

Battery
Cottage San Road
Caller advised that a male drove up and hit a female who lives in the trailer. Second caller advised that he was assaulted by a male neighbor who is now threatening to kill him if caller’s dog gets loose again. Ambulance was dispatched to check on second caller as he had neck surgery in January.

Welfare check
Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised that a female waved caller down and said she was out of it. Caretaker advised that she is probably complaining about her neck/the VA is working on it/he will be out shortly to check on her.

Larceny
Meadow Hawk Lane
Gas taken from his vehicle.
