Learn about the ins and outs of social media, local event calendars, resources Silver City Arts & Cultural District's Visitor Center can offer and more.
GǣWe're very excited to present to local organizations, businesses, and bodies about our ideas and expertise regarding marketing to both the local and the visitor. We really hope to educate attendees on how they can get the word out about their upcoming events by using a combination of tactics, including social media, local calendars, and resources we have available at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center,Gǥ said Callie Kennington, new Executive Director of the Silver City Arts & Cultural District.
Following the main presentation, the Silver City Arts & Cultural District will welcome Lynda Aiman-Smith as a guest speaker. Lynda will speak briefly about the difference between public and private events, which will no doubt be informative to everyone. Lastly, there will be a short Q&A session, which will allow attendees to ask any questions they might have regarding the presentation, as well as an open dialogue session, where the audience will be encouraged to throw out their own creative marketing ideas.
