DEMING – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is pleased to announce upcoming improvements for pedestrian safety and mobility in the town of Deming in the following weeks.
A-Mountain Construction (Contractor) will begin replacing the sidewalk, curb and ramps to include ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) improvements starting February 10, 2020 at the intersection of Pine & Gold Street in Deming. This project is estimated at just over $197,000 and is scheduled to take about one week to complete. Pine and Gold Street will remain open during construction with the exception of temporary lane closure for equipment to remove and replace concrete.
