Help CPC (Community Partnership for Children) Color Our Future Bright for Grant County Families! Register Today!

Silver City, NM – August 2, 2023 – Community Partnership for Children (CPC) calls on all Grant County residents to help color the future bright for our community’s children! CPC is a non-profit dedicated to promoting excellence in the care and development of young children. CPC works with the state to build affordable, accessible, and quality programs for families of children birth to five years of age in Grant County.

CPC will host a Color Run fundraiser on Saturday, September 16th from 10 AM to 3 PM at Bataan Memorial Park, Santa Clara. The event will be called the CPC’s September Spectac-Color Fun Run and its proceeds will ensure that all children in our community have access to quality and affordable early education and care.

The color run fundraiser is a fun and exciting way to support CPC’s mission and help improve care and quality programs for our communities. Participants may run, walk, or even dance a predetermined distance, and as they pass through color stations, they are doused with non-toxic colored powder. This creates a colorful and festive atmosphere, promoting health and fitness, and it is a lot of fun for the whole family! Admission to the event is free, however, registration is required for participation in the Color Run race categories.

Race categories are as follows: Family Fun Run (Children 5 and under, 1K or less): FREE Event that is the perfect race for families who want to participate and create fun memories together. Family Color Blast (Open to all ages, including young children, 1K or less). Children 5 and under are free. Early registration is $15. Teen Color Rush (age 13-17, 1K): We cannot wait to see teens color their way across the finish line! This is a great race for teens who want to get some exercise and have some fun with their friends. Adult Fun Run (Adults Only, 2K): Adults can run, walk, or dance their way across the finish line!

All attendees can enjoy music, food, and family-friendly activities.
