October 1, at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – "A Service for Peace and Unity”

Katherine Feist will lead the Fellowship in this simple service where we will find that our hearts and minds can shift to a wider perspective to a place of peace and unity. 

“Lighting a candle, joining in song, and listening to readings from some of the world’s spiritual traditions remind us of the similarities in the messages. This allows us to tune in to our own feelings, qualities and experiences of peace and unity,” Feist said.

She added, “What is amazing to me is that when we tune together to the same goals, this informs our being, and we carry this experience out into our world. Come and join us to spread peace and unity to Silver City and our world.”

Katherine Feist is a social worker and an ordained minister and meditation teacher. She has served as an educator in both pre-school and university, worked as a developmental social worker with families and children with disabilities and as a play therapist. In her retirement she has a retreat center offering retreats to individuals and groups. She offers a sense of warmth, humor and light which are qualities necessary in working to promote healing and understanding of self and others.
