I-25/Missouri Bridge - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with FNF Construction (Contractor) continues work along I-25 and the city roadway enhancements of Missouri Avenue and intersections of Triviz Drive and Don Roser Drive.

City of Las Cruces intersections of Missouri Avenue/Don Roser Drive and Missouri Avenue/Triviz Drive will continue to have active construction. Missouri Avenue will continue to have intermittent lane restrictions in both east and west bound lanes and shoulders.

Median work on I-25 between Lohman Avenue and University Avenue has begun and will continue into the month of January 2016; please be cautious of workers in the area. The right lane of I-25 southbound from the Lohman Avenue on ramp will exit at University Avenue; there will be only one through lane in this section.

To complete the bridge decking, there will be night closures of two intersections; Missouri Avenue at Triviz Drive and Missouri Avenue at Don Roser Drive. These closers will occur nightly from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, from Monday, January 11th through Wednesday, January 13th.

Next public meeting is scheduled for January 27, 2016 which will start promptly at 6:00 pm at the NMDOT Las Cruces Complex located at 750 N. Solano Dr.

I-10/Union Bridge-University - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with La Calerita Construction (Contractor) continues with work at the I-10/Ramp E Bridge and the I-10/Union Avenue Bridge in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The first phase (Westbound lanes) construction has been completed and the second phase (Eastbound lanes) construction is underway.

The westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and will use the driving lane. The eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and will be detoured through the westbound passing lane during construction of eastbound bridge. All westbound ramps will remain open during this construction phase.

During construction of this phase: The eastbound Conway Avenue off ramp will remain open to traffic. The eastbound Conway Avenue on ramp will be closed. Construction of Ramp E Bridge will continue. Eastbound access to I-10 at Valley Drive and University Avenue is closed.

Union Avenue will be closed from 6 AM on Friday, January, 15th to 6 PM to Sunday, January 17th for removing the existing bridge. The detour signs will be in place. Speed restrictions remain in effect through the I-10 construction zone. Please obey the traffic signs and drive safely.

The next Public Meeting will be Tuesday, January 12, 2016 which will start promptly at 6:00 pm at the NMDOT Las Cruces Complex located at 750 N. Solano.

N. Main/US 70 - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with G. Sandoval Construction (Contractor) is nearing completion with only minor work left to be done to include the following: medians, shoulder work and clean up. The NMDOT is anticipating an end of December completion date.

The City of Las Cruces will be making modifications to their bus route which can be found on their web at:

I-10 Exit 135 Interchange
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with MWI Inc.(Contractor) currently have traffic control placed on I-10 at exit 135 between mile marker 134.08 to 134.82, west of Las Cruces, New Mexico. The traveling public will not encounter any closures.

I-25/Rincon (South of Hatch, NM)
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with MANS Construction (Contractor) currently have traffic control placed on I-25 between mile marker 35.619 to 39.0, south of Hatch, New Mexico. The Contractor has begun roadway rehabilitation by milling the existing roadway and resurfacing the interstate where motorists will encounter lane and speed reductions during working hours. The Contractor's schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, and may change as work progresses. (Project is under temporary suspension)

I-10 - Motel Drive Drive Exit to Airport Exit
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office along with Mountain States Constructors (Contractor) will be working on a roadway rehabilitation project. The contractor will be milling out the existing roadway and will place a new asphalt mat that will extend the longevity of the roadway. Interstate 10 is a heavily traveled state route that serves a main line for bordering states, and as a source for commercial traffic. Traffic will be restricted to one lane from mile marker 139 (Motel Blvd exit) to 133 (Airport exit). The contractor will complete the westbound lanes and switch over to the eastbound lanes and perform the same process, work will continue on this section of roadway through January 2016.

I-25 Mile Post 51-75
The New Mexico Department of Transportation and J-H Supply (Contractor) will begin grade work with post and cable barrier installation follow in the median. There will be moving lane closures on this project. Work is expected to last until end of March 2016. Please use caution in the area.

NM 1 Mile Post 1 to 21.2, Exit 100 to Exit 115
The New Mexico Department of Transportation and G. Sandoval Construction (Contractor) will be performing repairs and erosion control on the CBC at mile post 21. The road will be closed at both Exit 100 and 115 to thru traffic. This work is expected until May 2016. Please use caution.

NM 90/Hudson Street Bridge - Silver City
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Interstate Highway Construction (IHC) (Contractor) has CLOSED all access over the NM 90/Hudson Street Bridge. The NMDOT and IHC continue with the construction of the bridge overpass. The contractor has installed various notifications alerting motorists of the closures. In addition, the NMDOT will have traffic control advising motorists that the county Truck Bypass route will be available. The San Vicente Trail will be closed at Corbin Street along with South Mill Road, and under the bridge.

The next Public Involvement Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Wednesday January 20, 2015 at the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Hwy. 180 E, Silver City, NM 88061. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 pm with members of the NMDOT and IHC will be available to answer any questions the public may have regarding the project.

I-10 Lordsburg - Mile Post 26.73
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Hasse Contracting (Contractor) will be performing bridge repair work at mile marker 26.73 in the west bound lane; east bound lane will encounter a one lane closure.

NM 27 - Mile Post 25.40
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Kimo Construction (Contractor) will be performing bridge repair work at mile marker 25.40. Contractor is working on installing culvert pipe, will be installing drop inlet. Contractor is fine grading for rip-rap in the channel. Traffic might encounter one lane closure during hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

I-10 Lordsburg - Mile Post 29
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with James Hamilton Construction (Contractor) will be performing bridge repair work and partial reconstruction of the roadway. Detour in place

Bridge Repair - Various Locations on I-10/I-25
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Hasse Contracting Inc. (Contractor) will be working on repairing various bridges in District One, along the I-10 & I-25 corridors. The Contractor is currently working over I-10 near milepost 85 in Deming, New Mexico (Exit 85 Bridge over I-10); Bridge will be CLOSED beginning Saturday, January 9th through Sunday, January 17th for deck pouring. I-10 Westbound on-ramp at this location will be CLOSED to traffic beginning on January 4, 2016.

Crescent Drive
From Apollo Drive to Farney Lane will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Jill Circle
From O'Hair Drive to cul-de-sac will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Macaw Circle
From O'Hair Drive to cul-de-sac will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Mary Circle
From Salopek Blvd to cul-de-sac will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

O'Hair Drive
From Salopek Blvd to Oleta Drive will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Salopek Blvd
From Stern Drive to Oleta Drive will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Sixth Street
From Wilson Avenue to Dead End North will be closed to through traffic. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.
