Donates 200 backpacks at the “Back-to-School Summer Jam”
(Santa Fe, NM) – PNM partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Fe/Del Norte for a “Back-to-School Summer Jam” on Sunday, July 25. The event was held at SWAN Park in Santa Fe. School supplies were given out to hundreds of kids, while live entertainment was performed by Dream Noise, Hip Hop University, DJ Sol, and DJ Ride Along.
“Investing in our youths’ education is something that we take very seriously,” said Laurie Roach, Manager of Outreach and Engagement for PNM. “We are incredibly thankful for The Boys & Girls club of Santa Fe for putting on such a tremendous event to get the kids in our community ready to go back to school.”
In total, 432 backpacks, along with countless school supplies, were donated. PNM provided 200 of those backpacks. The rest came from Comcast and the Boys & Girls Club.
