Foy Glenn Johnson, 78, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at his home with his loved ones by his bedside.

Foy was born on August 14, 1937 in Roby, Texas to Allie Johnson and Bertie Jackson. The career choices that made the greatest impact on Foy's life were working as a lineman for Columbus Electric Co-op after serving our country in the Navy in the late 50s. These set him up for his calling as a Chiropractor which has allowed him to help others in this capacity for the past thirty years. Helping and serving others were what he enjoyed most in his life. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it.

His first love and passion was toward God and his family. He always made time to go and visit as much as possible.

Hunting was a family affair and always greatly anticipated. His life was a great adventure filled with love and laughter. He will
be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Johnson of Deming, NM; one son, Sidney Johnson and his wife, Eva, of Albuquerque, NM; four daughters, Stacy Hooper and her husband Troy of Abilene, TX; Dana Coussons and her husband Merritte of Las Cruces, NM; Amy Teague and her husband Clint of Arkansas and Phyllis Wilson and her husband Charles of Deming, NM; twenty one grandchildren and fifteen great
grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents; three brothers, Lloyd Johnson, Oliver Johnson and Jinx Johnson; one sister, Lorene Russell.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:30 am with the Funeral service beginning at 10:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapel with Pastor, Doug Ferris and Eldon Fowler officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Fort Bayard National Cemetery at 1:00pm with full military honors.
