EstherRodriguez RSEsther Romero Rodriguez, 71, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer on Friday, October 30, 2015 at her home in Maricopa.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 4, 2015 at 6:00 O'clock in the evening at the Apostolic Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church 432 W. Saguaro St. Casa Grande, AZ. Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 9 O'clock in the morning at Baca's Funeral Chapels 3805 Delk Dr. Silver City, New Mexico, with the Funeral service to begin at 10 O'clock in the morning. Concluding services and interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery.

She was born April 10, 1944 in Santa Rita, New Mexico to Monico Romero and Margarita Grijalva. Esther was a homemaker and has lived in AZ for the last 10 years. In her brief earthly life Esther was devoted to her family, their education, sports endeavors, their spiritual well being and most importantly their church Christian family. Esther's last wish was that all would turn to Jesus with prayers for their family's salvation. "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38

She is survived by her husband Mariano, son Mariano Jr. and his wife Celeste of Phoenix, son-in-law Armando Sanchez Sr. of San Bernardino, CA, sister Mary Lou Bennett and her husband Bill of Farmington, NM, brother Israel Romero of Phoenix, sister Lynette Ruiz and her husband Bobby of Silver City, NM, sister Niome Grijalva of Phoenix, brother Pastor Samuel Grijalva and his wife Nellie of San Lorenzo, CA, 6 grandchildren; Armando Sanchez Jr., Marisa Sanchez of San Bernardino, CA, Mariano Rodriguez III, Angelique Robledo, Robert Rodriguez and Isaac Rodriguez all of Phoenix, and 4 great grandchildren; Aiveri Rodriguez, Ryland Cruz, Julian Rodriguez and Maddux Cruz all of Phoenix, 13 nieces and 9 nephews and several aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Jane Sanchez, brother Edward Grijalva Jr. and parents Eduardo and Margarita Grijalva.

Serving has pallbearers are Robert, Isaac and Mariano Rodriguez III, John Grijalva, Freddie Fierro and Larry Valencia.
