smith 02Zenaida Margarita Rocha Smith, 64, a resident of Elko, NV entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Reno Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. She was born July 28, 1953 in Gomez Palacio, Durango Mexico to Maria Romana Valles Rocha.

She is survived by her husband Calvin Smith of Maywood, IL; one son, Jose Rocha (Maria) of Arenas Valley; one daughter, Myrian Bastidos (Trini) of Bayard; twelve grandchildren, Raymond Maynes, Vanessa Maynes, Michael Rocha (Sabrina), Paula Rocha (Gabriel her companion), Alyssa Amador, Alfonso Leon, Steven Amador (Sabrina), Jose Rocha Jr., (Sabrina Villa), Monique Rocha, Gabriel, Karolina, Juan Carlos, and Josiah Rocha; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosa Guerrero (Rosendo) of Elko, NV; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, one brother, Pablo Hector Vasquez; one god-daughter, Cynthia Guerrero.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Carmen Terrazas to begin at 6pm. The funeral liturgy will be Wednesday, May 2 at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Abraham Soliz officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trini Bastidos, Raymond Maynes, Michael Rocha, Steven Amador, Jose Rocha, Jose Rocha Jr., and Alfonso Leon. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond, Jayden, Regan, Aviahana, Adylin, Alfonso Jr., Zalia, Josiah, Zoe, Rayden, Israel, Ana, and Joshua.
