CajigaLLydia Lourdes Cajiga, 69, a resident of Lordsburg, NM entered eternal rest Friday, November 16, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born February 10, 1954 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Trinidad and Josephina Loya.

Mom was passionate she enjoyed worship and being in church gatherings, crafts her main occupation was caring for her family and home. Mom’s love has always been a sustaining force for our family, and one of our greatest joys was seeing her integrity, compassion, her intelligence reflected in her family. The word classy took a whole new meaning for me when I saw or thought of my mom and will always think of her. Mom didn’t have fancy dresses but always made sure her dresses were ironed to perfection. She even prepared us for this day she asked my sister and I to pick out of three new dresses in her closet she had told us to pick the one we liked and that was what she would be buried in my sister would do her nails. As she told us this you could tell she had put great thought in what she wanted. Mom was smart and elegant. Mom was respectful of others and their opinion. Our mom was classy in how she presented herself she was kind and unique one of a kind always spoke in kind words firm and direct she was classy calm collected and quite diplomatic in approach she was strong and her faith was unwavering. She knew when to speak and choose her words carefully. She was beautiful inside and out.

She is survived by her loving husband Juan Cajiga of the family home; two sons, Juan Cajiga Encinas Jr and wife Annabelle of Albuquerque; Ivan Cajiga of Lordsburg; two daughters, Corina Sanchez and husband Edmund of Lordsburg; Lidia Cajiga-Loya of Morenci, AZ; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Junior Loya and wife Elsa of Juarez, Mexico; five sisters, Rosie, Carmen, Aurelia, and Reyna Loya of Juarez, Mexico; and Manuela Estrada and husband Rene of Juarez, Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jesus Cajiga; one brother, Jesus Maria Loya.
