EsparzaDDelia Marie Esparza “Dee” Born January 18, 1990 to Dora L Esparza, Went into the arms of Our Lord on Thanksgiving Morning, Thursday November 23, 2023. Joining Him at His Table for a Heavenly Banquet.

As a young girl Delia was active in School and Church activities, Karate, Dance, Cheerleading, Girl scouts, Beauty Pageants Ballet Folklorico & Cobre Mariachi, with her Mom always by her side supporting and cheering her on.

She was a Parishioner at Santa Clara Catholic Church and a Cursillista. She loved going camping with her family and was a Raider Fan. Delia had a beautiful voice, singing in her Church and for those she loved, Carino, Amor Enterno, You are my Sunshine and her Grandmas favorite, Los Laureles.  Delia suffered from seizures for several years, despite her heavy cross, she was very loving and had alot of faith. Always willing to help and listen to anyone, without any judgement.

Survivors include: Her son David Ray Alcorta and her Mom, Dora Simpson. Brothers: Armando Simpson and wife Brandy and their children AJ, Isabel and Lillith. Sammy Simpson, Princess and their son, Ezra Albert. Alvin and Symon Simpson. Grandparents: Richard and Elizabeth Esparza. Aunts and Uncles: Uncle (Badboy) Albert and Aunt Yvonne Esparza and Family, Uncle Nick and Tia Liz Flores and Family. Lita Martinez, Aunt Linda Luna, Norma Arambula and family.Her Father, Joe and Rosemary Sierra and Family. Stepchildren: Michael Jr., Makayla and Savannah Alcorta. Godparents: David and Naomi Madrid. The Simpson Families from Farmington NM, numerous Great Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.  She is preceded in death by: Her Dad, Albert “Chief” Simpson, her sister, Alize Simpson, Uncle Richard Paul Esparza, Stepbrother, Albert Simpson Jr. Step daughter, Alizandra Jasso. Grandparents: Juanita Sierra and Thomas and Jane Simpson. Great Grandparents: Margarito and Polly Esparza, Frank and Bernie Lucero and Dora Lucero

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00am-11:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapel with the Holy Rosary commencing at 11:30am, recited by Deacon Art Gutierrez.  The Funeral Mass will take place at Santa Clara Catholic Church at 1:00pm with Father Casmir Anozie officiating.  The inurnment will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers: Albert Esparza, Nick Flores, Armando, Sammy, Alvin and Symon Simpson.  Honorary Pallbearers: Steven and Santana Escobar, Frank “Tykie” Lucero, Chris Hodnett, Amy Becerra and her High School friends.
