MirandaAAtocha O. Miranda, 71, Deming resident passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Visitation will take place at Baca’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday January 18, 2024 at 10 o’clock in the morning. Funeral Services will follow at 12 noon at Templo Nueva Vida with Pastor Isacc Corral officiating. The final interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Atocha was born August 27, 1952 in Peña Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonia Beltran and Octavio Orona. She loved spending time with her family, listening to music, traveling, and shopping.

Atocha is survived by her mother Antonia Orona Beltran; her husband Jose Angel Miranda; 10 children Heriberto (Karla) Miranda, Jaime (Magda) Miranda, Claudia (Alonso) Gutierrez, Francisca (Hector) Ruiz, Ofelia (Tony) Pedraza, Miguel (Concepcion) Miranda, Marycela (Adan) Rincon, Diana (Mario) Miranda, Flor (Jesus) Cabrera and Vicente (Adriana) Miranda; 36 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and her siblings Olivia, Olga, Luz Elena, Blanca, Belen, Pepe, Marcos, and Ricardo.

She is preceded in death by her father Octavio Orona; a granddaughter Lluvia Miranda and two siblings Andrea and Gustavo.

Serving as pallbearers will be Miguel, Vicente and Heriberto Miranda, Jesus Cabrera, Hector Ruiz, and Mario Ferrales. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaime, Moises and Gabriel Isacc Miranda, Emmanuel Flores, David Reyes, Juan Carlos Villegas, and her granddaughters.

Atocha O. Miranda, de 71 años, residente de Deming, falleció el viernes 12 de enero de 2024 en el Centro Médico Regional Mountain View en Las Cruces.

La visitacion  tendrá lugar en la Funeraria Baca’s el jueves 18 de enero de 2024 a las 10 de la mañana. Los servicio fúnebre seguirá a las 12 del mediodía en el Templo Nueva Vida con el pastor Isacc Corral oficiando. El entierro final se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Mountain View.

Atocha nació el 27 de agosto de 1952 en Peña Blanca, Chihuahua, México, sus padres Antonia Beltrán y Octavio Orona. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, escuchar música, viajar e ir de compras.

A Atocha le sobreviven su madre Antonia Orona Beltrán; su esposo José Ángel Miranda; 10 hijos Heriberto (Karla) Miranda, Jaime (Magda) Miranda, Claudia (Alonso) Gutiérrez, Francisca (Héctor) Ruiz, Ofelia (Tony) Pedraza, Miguel (Concepción) Miranda, Marycela (Adán) Rincón, Diana (Mario) Miranda, Flor (Jesús) Cabrera y Vicente (Adriana) Miranda; 36 nietos, 45 bisnietos y sus hermanos Olivia, Olga, Luz Elena, Blanca, Belén, Pepe, Marcos y Ricardo.

Le preceden en la muerte su padre Octavio Orona; una nieta, Lluvia Miranda, y dos hermanos, Andrea y Gustavo.

Los portadores del féretro serán Miguel, Vicente y Heriberto Miranda, Jesús Cabrera, Héctor Ruiz y Mario Ferrales. Los portadores honoríficos del féretro serán Jaime, Moisés y Gabriel Isacc Miranda, Emmanuel Flores, David Reyes, Juan Carlos Villegas y sus nietas.
