SavoryMMary Dolores Savory, 77, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Silver City Care Center.  She was born August 7, 1946 in Central, NM to Isaac Barraza and Consuelo Holguin.

Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who spent much of her life taking care of her kids and grandkids whom she loved like no other. She took special care of her daughter who was special needs. She did anything for her grandkids (abuela) as they called her was the light of their eyes. Mary loved her Chicago Bulls and watching her novellas. Drinking coffee with the grandkids and snacking on sweets. She loved listening to her country and Spanish music on the radio and cooking for family. She worked for Beehive homes for several years until her health did not allow her too.  She was a jokester with a wild sense of humor. Those who knew her know she spoke her mind. Mary will be missed dearly and is now reunited with her daughter Rhonda.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Savory (Christina) of Silver City; five grandchildren, Zoey Savory (Aurora); Matthew Savory Jr., Desiree Savory, Nicole Portillo (Danny); Dominique Flores (Jordan); four great-great grandchildren, Aeneas, Aaliyah, Zaydrian, and Isaiah; her brother, Arnold Lopez of Santa Clara; her sisters, Claire Gandara of Albuquerque, and Sandra Lopez of Hesperia, CA; her aunt, Sally Valles of Santa Clara; also, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Rhonda Savory; special aunt, Ramona Regalado.

No service will take place at this time per her wishes.  Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.  Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory “Trusted care for the ones you love” ~ 575-537-0777.  To send condolences, visit www.terrazasfuneralchapel.com .
