NMSU Global Campus has announced a new partnership with Las Cruces Public Schools to provide expanded access to affordable, flexible higher education opportunities for all district employees.
Through this collaboration, LCPS staff including teachers, administrators, and support personnel will have access to fully accredited online undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs designed to support career advancement, professional growth, and workforce development. LCPS employees can pursue high-demand graduate degrees and licensure pathways in areas such as special education, secondary education, and early childhood education.
Beyond educator preparation programs, employees may also apply their tuition benefit toward a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, professional certificates, and short-term microlearning courses. These flexible, fully online options are designed to help staff across all roles build new skills, strengthen leadership capacity, and advance their careers – while continuing to serve the district and community.

"By expanding access to flexible, online education, we are supporting professional growth for educators and staff alike, strengthening the entire district community."
Programs are delivered fully online, allowing working professionals to balance coursework with full-time responsibilities. The partnership also provides a tuition discount for eligible LCPS employees, reducing financial barriers and making continued education more accessible.
