"Pilgrimage,” at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City
Sunday, December 04, 2022, 10:00am |
After people’s interest in participating in pilgrimages dwindled over the years, in the late twentieth century there began to be a resurgence of interest in participating in one. The place most often connected with this word is the Camino de Santiago in Spain, particularly over the last thirty years. Using the Camino as a backdrop, this presentation will discuss who is interested in pilgrimage, what a pilgrimage might be, where pilgrim routes are and why people choose to walk one.
