ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Abortion Free New Mexico (AFNM) has confirmed that the Santa Fe Planned Parenthood location is not dispensing the abortion pill either in person or by telehealth appointment. Planned Parenthood's operations in New Mexico have undergone a series of reversals: established facilities close, reopen to provide abortions, and then close again or stop providing abortions—all while another announced location in Albuquerque has yet to open.
In Santa Fe, Planned Parenthood operated for years before closing and subsequently reopening. On May 11, 2026, AFNM reported that the reopened facility was providing chemical abortions through 11 weeks of pregnancy.
