At this time, we have no indication that any newmexico.org partner accounts or listings have been affected, and there has been no breach of our systems. However,if you maintain accounts with us, we want you to be informed and aware of the situation.
Key points to know:
• The scam text messages contain urgent or threatening language about fines, license suspension, or other penalties.
• The messages direct recipients to a look‑alike website using a domain that attempts to mimic newmexico.org.
• These messages are not from the State of New Mexico, NewMexico.org, or any affiliated agency.
• Please do not click any suspicious links you may receive by text or email.
