Albuquerque – As the federal government shutdown continues to impact New Mexico's families, especially the more than one in five SNAP recipients, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is once again packing her bags for another international climate junket. The Governor will be headed to Brazil this year, after attending previous climate conferences in Egypt, Scotland, and Dubai just to name a few.

"Governor Lujan Grisham's hypocrisy continues to be staggering, but not at all surprising," said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. "She pretends to care about families impacted by the shutdown, but instead of staying home to stand with them, she's boarding another free flight to lecture us. Her phoniness is clear: she takes credit for using oil and gas dollars to boost SNAP, then jets off to scheme about ways to kill the industry."
