Washington, D.C. - Today, the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee announced that the New Georgia Project, a scandal-plagued organization founded by Stacey Abrams, is dissolving following scrutiny from Congress and Power The Future. Environmental groups with ties to Abrams were awarded $2 billion during the Biden Administration with questions swirling about the legality of their operations. The dissolution ends years of operation for the group after Power The Future Founder and Executive Director testified before Congress earlier this year.

"This was a green grift pure and simple," said Mr. Turner. "For too long, Stacey Abrams and others like her used organizations like this to game the system to enrich their political political power under the guise of the green movement. We are grateful to Chairman Comer and Chairman Smith for holding them to account and getting meaningful results."

Here is the exchange between Daniel Turner and Chairman Comer last June.
