Washington, D.C. - As Earth Day 2025 arrives, the silence is deafening - and telling. After years of hyperbolic screaming about climate apocalypse, the extreme climate left has seemingly lost their script this year. The usual climate alarmism has been replaced by outrage over DOGE, Teslas, and support for illegal criminal migrants. Additionally, former climate warrior Bernie Sanders spent nearly a quarter of a million dollars on a private jet to make sure more people can hear him not worry about the climate.
“For years, climate activists celebrated Earth Day by telling us to buy a Tesla. This year, we have to wonder how many Teslas they will burn,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “The fact that their former existential threat now takes a backseat to other issues is proof they never really believed their own hype in the first place. However, the consequences were all too real as working families were forced to pay more for everything due to their failed climate inflation law. Perhaps that’s why today they’re silent because they would rather focus on protecting federal bureaucrats then remind us of the damage they already caused.”
