Washington, D.C.- Freshman Senator Dave McCormick will host President Trump and energy and tech leaders at an Energy and Innovation Summit tomorrow at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. As the nation’s second-highest producer of natural gas, third-highest of coal and the birthplace of the oil industry, Pennsylvania can power the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution and help America lead in this new tech revolution.

“Along with President Trump, Pennsylvania’s newest senator is standing up for the Commonwealth’s fossil fuel industry because he knows it will power and win the AI race against China,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Tomorrow’s summit is a testament to his leadership and the fact that AI needs reliable, affordable, domestic energy, and our great fossil fuel industry can provide it.”

Power The Future recently authored a comprehensive white paper “Rocket Fuel for America’s AI Moonshot” outlining the great energy demands of the AI race and highlighting American fossil fuels as the answer.
