Washington, D.C. - Power The Future today praised President Donald Trump's decision not to send any high-level officials to the United Nations' COP30 conference in Brazil. Since the beginning, climate conferences have served as global junkets for bureaucrats to fly halfway around the world to lecture Americans on their carbon footprint. Last year's COP29 trip sent about 400 Biden-era federal employees oversees at a conservative cost of $6-7 million while producing nothing for working families.

"President Trump is absolutely right to end the taxpayer-funded hypocrisy that defines these bloated climate retreats," said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. "It will be fascinating to see how many leftists crying over their government shutdown somehow find their way into this elitist party. Thanks to President Trump, instead of wasting millions on bureaucrats sipping cocktails in Brazil, our tax dollars can stay home and help build American Energy Dominance."
