It's only been a few years since the Biden Administration nearly wrecked the social norms and economy of the country over a China manufactured virus, and now we're being teased it could happen again.
Then, flu shots and other inoculations with experimental drugs was the recommended remedy.
Closure of schools, businesses, churches and certain other facilities were mandated by government officials, in the interest of "public safety."
Many people were required to "work from home." Visiting friends and family were discouraged for fear of spreading the virus.
Granny had to celebrate her 83rd birthday via cellphone video.
Sudden appearance of hand sanitizer dispensers at store entrances became common.
Meanwhile, big-box stores, banks, gas stations, grocery, pharmacies and other "essential" establishments were allowed to remain open.
The Biden economy sank: "Inflation roared back, shrinking the value of workers' paychecks. Consumer prices rose 21.5%. Gasoline alone rose 31%. After adjusting for inflation, private-sector average weekly earnings shrank 4%." — FactCheck.org, Oct. 9, 2025.
Federal and state health departments constantly told us to get the shots and boosters, strap on face masks, wash your hands every fifteen minutes and "stay at least six feet apart."
President Biden assured us if we got the "jab" we wouldn't get sick, though he was infected two or three times.
Some people were fired from their jobs if they refused the vaccines.
Millions of dollars were sent to various scams and bogus health care promoters.
Now, we're learning certain medicines found in the shots of major pharmacituical suppliers are causing other health ailments.
Before leaving office, Biden (or his auto-pen) issued a Presidential Pardon for Dr. Tony "Follow the science" Fauci, his chief medical advisor during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What were the incriminating reasons Biden would pardon his own COVID counselor unless it was to shield him from future prosecution for alleged misdeeds?
Perhaps the biggest con of all was we were seriously expected to believe — and blindly comply — with medical directives issued by the same federal government's cast of characters who didn't seem to possess the combined brain power to master the basic fundamentals of balancing an ordinary checkbook.
Still don't. Currently, we're about $40 trillion in the hole and sinking deeper into the mire.
It was insanity gone wild, promoted by individuals totally ignorant of the situation, or intentionally involved in profiting from it.
Didn't we learn anything from the lunacy?
This time we're being warned it could happen again because of a non-airborne rodent disease found on a medium-sized cruise ship that left southern Argentina headed for Europe, with several of the tourists becoming sick. Three have died.
I imagine these folks were already infected before boarding the ship. An unfortunate occurrence, but not near pandemic proportions, no matter how intently the media my try to frighten us.
Actually, Arizona Department of Health Services advises "Arizona has detected no Sin Nombre virus (SNV/Hantavirus) cases so far in 2026. In 2025, there were seven confirmed cases, including four deaths, primarily in northern Arizona counties. In 2024, Arizona reported 11 confirmed cases. At this time, there are no confirmed cases or exposures of the Andes virus in Arizona, and the overall risk to Arizonans remains low." — Arizona Department of Health Services, Update, May 12, 2026.
Since New Mexico's population is about a fourth the size of Arizona's, cases of Hantavirus are probably considerably fewer. From what I can determine, in 2026 there has been only one statewide case reported, and that is in Santa Fe County.
Also, New Mexico Department of Health indicates "New Mexico's hantavirus strain is different from the cruise ship outbreak and does not spread between people." — May 13, 2026, Zoonotic Diseases - Information.
More people have probably choked on a cheeseburger than succumbed to a sickness caused from mouse droppings.
However, since this particular virus seems to transfer to humans through unsanitary conditions, or in areas where rodents have congregated, or infected people in extended close contact with each other, the disease appears rather benign.
Yet, establishment press and political activists are always on the hunt for an excuse to fabricate some kind of "crisis" in order to demand various agencies of government immediately rush to the rescue.
Of course, with government help comes government rules, regulations and expenses — as we also experienced during COVID.
Including fraud.
Practically from the very beginning, the Coronavirus Disease-19 was suspected of being the result of a laboratory leak, partially funded with U.S. dollars.
We've later discovered, through Congressional investigations and witness testimony, Dr. Fauci was involved in this endeavor to a considerable degree.
He's denied any wrongdoing, but his acceptance of Joe Biden's pardon would seem to suggest culpability.
The "statute of limitations" in prosecuting Fauci for alleged illegal participation in COVID related issues recently expired May 11, 2026.
Meaning, I assume, Biden's pardon will now protect him from future prosecutions.
Maybe. I'm no lawyer, but I imagine there are probably other ways to skin this cat, or work around the pardon. A clever, seasoned attorney can probably figure out a few angles.
With all the chicanery being revealed throughout certain government departments, there's a good chance previously hidden evidence, witnesses and financial records might be exposed revealing Fauci's direct involvement in the COVID brouhaha.
For certain, there's no denying the COVID years under Biden were a total disaster; the guy was nearly incoherent throughout his single term.
Thousands of people were infected and died, businesses ruined and schools closed because of his incompetent management of a viral threat that nearly paralyzed his already limited skills — other than senselessly repeating the advice of his equally befuddled advisors.
At the same time, his ludicrous open border policies were allowing millions of illegal crossers, many with various diseases and evil intentions, to randomly stroll into the country.
Surprisingly, liberal Democrats eventually realized Joe, himself, was aimlessly wandering in the wilderness, clueless to many of the debacles his administration spawned, and finally decided to remove him from seeking reelection in 2024.
I doubt his profile will ever be featured on a U.S. dollar or penny — which we no longer use.
However, his smiling face may eventually be seen on postage stamps of "The Three Worst Presidents In United States History."
Sort of reminiscent of the Moe, Larry and Curley trio.
Wait, actually Joe has been on a postage stamp — in Liberia, Africa.
Why? Not sure, unless Barack sent him over there to get him out of his hair for a few days.
Believe it or not, this isn't a belated April Fool's Joke.
Just when you thought you'd heard it all about the "Joe Biden experience," a new batch of his mind-numbing escapades is revealed.
In an overall review of the entire COVID, open borders, inflationary Biden Administration fiasco, one must eventually realize that many of the same people who promoted much of this silliness still walks among us — disguised as well-meaning politicians, bureaucrats and civil servants,
