"The Shahada (Arabic: الشَّهَادَةُ aš-šahādatu; Arabic pronunciation: [aʃʃahaːdatʊ], 'the testimony'),[note 1] also transliterated as Shahadah, is an Islamic oath and creed, and one of the Five Pillars of Islam and part of the Adhan. It reads: "I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God." The Shahada declares belief in the oneness (tawhid) of God and the acceptance of Muhammad as God's messenger. Some Shia Muslims also include a statement of belief in the wilayat of Ali,[1] but they do not consider it as an obligatory part for converting to Islam.[2] A single honest recitation of the Shahada is all that is required for a person to become a Muslim according to most traditional schools." — Illustrated Dictionary of the Muslim World, Marshall Cavendish, 2011.

We'd better wake up to the undeniable fact a large portion of the growing Muslim community in our country has little intention of "assimilating" into society or tolerating other religious organizations.

We're viewed as subhuman, worship a false God, and need to be eliminated in order to bring Allah's "Will" and governance to rule over the Earth.

Or as they say "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet," and variants of this theme.

Now numbering two billion Muslims world wide — approximately ¼ the total world population — they've been repeating this "Call to Prayer" five times a day for around 1,400 years.

A new phenomenon? Only to those who haven't been paying attention to what's been going on around them, or what the Muslim holy book, the Koran (Quran), teaches.

A lot of us know the latest football scores, Hollywood's popular movies, political banterings, 10-day weather forecasts, Las Vegas headliners and local gosip, but we're nearly clueless about advancing adversaries who aren't concealing their intentions of disrupting society and replacing our customs, traditions and life styles with versions of their own.

Recently two National Guard members patrolling our nation's capitol were shot by a Muslim assassin who gained entry into the country in 2021 via President Biden's slack border and immigration policies.

The female soldier later died from her injuries.

An estimated 12-18 million other immigrants have unlawfully entered the country. Not all are Arab or Muslims, but many are, and most of them haven't been properly screened, for the simple reason these people come from countries where information is limited and files aren't available.

President Joe and his cabinet continually assured us "The Border is closed" — a big fat lie as anyone with two eyes and a functioning brain could plainly see and understand.

Kamala Harris, Joe's Vice President, was appointed his "Border Czar," but was totally incompetent in managing the assignment. Not surprising, she also parroted the "The border is closed" whopper even while news organizations were televising thousands of foreigners crossing the Rio Grande River into Texas.

After the Democratic National Committee dismissed Joe from campaigning for reelection, they moved Kamala into the position, hoping she would be more convincing to voters.

She wasn't, even after spending a billion dollars trying.

Today, for the most part we have no idea where all these border skippers are currently hiding.

We do acknowledge Muslims' on-going jihad (war) against unbelievers is a principal doctrine motivating them to emerge from time-to-time to attack and kill whomever they perceive as the enemy of Islam.

Which, of course, is anyone not believing in Islam or the Koran.

When and where the next attack will take place is the unknown piece of the puzzle.

Currently, there's an estimated 4.5 million Muslims in the United States, with 300,000 residing in the Detroit area, and many in Minnesota.

Recently, Zohran Kwame Mandani, a 34-year-old Socialist Muslim from Uganda, Africa was elected Mayor of New York City. NYC, and its five boroughs, has a population of over 8 million residents. It is the largest city in the United States, and exceeds the populations of many states.

NYC is also the financial hub of our business system. Various stock exchanges, banks and large corporate headquarters reside within its perimeters.

According to a report released in 2023 by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), there are now 235 elected American Muslim officials and judges serving in local, state and federal levels.

Undoubtedly, the trend continued to increase in 2024-25.

NYC was ground zero for the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, killing an estimated 2,900 unsuspecting citizens. It's taken years and billions of dollars to repair, rebuild and restore confidence in the city.

Other assaults and killings have taken place over the years, and an increase in frequency is becoming apparent.

Militant Muslim efforts seem to reflect a growing reality — they are determined to eradicate as many non-Muslims as possible and through terror-tactics designed to compel others into joining their religion.

The malicious massacre of 1,200 Israeli Jews at a musical concert a couple of years ago was conducted with such barbarity and brutality that it shocked the conscious of most civilized nations. Defenseless men, women, children and babies were slaughtered at will.

A few hundred were taken as hostages.

Muslims consider Jews the dregs of society and have been their archenemy for centuries.

Several European societies are also witnessing a rise in Islam as hundreds of thousands of Muslims have migrated from the Middle East and Northern Africa into the region.

London, England now has a Muslim mayor, also. Sadiq Khan, 55, was reelected to a third term. Who would have ever thought that?

Surprisingly, even the Vatican in Rome has permitted visiting Muslims an official "prayer room" within the Apostolic Library.

A recent edition from the Catholic News Agency (CNA) informs readers "The verdict: The Vatican Apostolic Library does indeed allow Muslims a room for prayer. But, importantly, it does not appear to be a generally accessible Islamic prayer space but rather one designated for the "Muslim scholars" that may be on site at the time. Further, it was only opened at the request of scholars themselves." — CNA, Oct. 21, 2025.

Is the camel's nose now under the tent inside the Vatican? Isn't this kind of like permitting only a few inquisitive termites to sample the incense scented wood within St. Peter's Basicala?

However, what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander. Catholic.com tells us:

Question: "Is it a sin for a Catholic to visit the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia?"

Answer: "Catholics can visit any place that is not inherently immoral. Tourism and seeking to understand others are not bad things. Catholics can visit places that are not Catholic or Christian. However, Catholics should always follow the laws of the countries and places they visit. If a Catholic cannot morally follow the law of a certain place, then a Catholic should not go there. In Mecca, non-Muslims are not legally permitted, and therefore Catholics should respect their laws."

I suppose neither are Baptists, Episcopals, Lutherans, Methodists, Mormons, Pentecostals, Presbyterian, Seventh-Day-Adventists, Buddists, Hindus or any other non Muslim faith is welcomed.

Several countries have kept Muslims out, while others are now witnessing what uncontrolled immigration of these people is bringing to their communities.

Intentional or not, the Biden Administration's chaotic military withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, in which troops were pulled out before the citizens were, and tons of military hardware left behind, also provided an opportunity to allow thousands of Afghan soldiers and citizens to flee into the U.S.

The shooter of the two National Guard soldiers in Washington, D.C. is said to have worked with U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

As we're presently realizing, much of our internal problems are joined by a common thread — the Islamic faith and the Muslims who adhere to it.

"But Mike, the First Amendment permits anyone to assemble and practice their religion" many will say.

True. However, when religion begins to infringe upon the order and safety of society, then it has ceased being a peaceful entity and drifted into the realm of criminality.

To my understanding, the practice of religion — in whatever form or fashion within the United States — does not lawfully provide a provision to include rape and murder of anyone not believing in its tenets.

I imagine most courts and judges would agree — no matter what the Koran may say.

Furthermore, I cannot begin to fathom what would happen if certain followers of Islam were to come into possession of a nuclear weapon.

It would seem we have gone beyond the point where "The camel's nose is now under the tent." — "The idiom 'camel's nose' is a popular expression used in English to describe a situation where a small problem or issue is allowed to occur, which then leads to much bigger problems down the line. The metaphorical image of the camel's nose refers to the idea that once you allow a small part of something undesirable into your life, it will gradually take over and become much more difficult to control." — CrossIdiomas.com.
