"Boot Hill . . . Boot Hill,
So cold . . . so still.
There they lay side by side,
The killers that died,
In the gunfight at O.K. Corral" — Gunfight At The O.K. Corral (movie), 1957, title song performed by Frankie Laine.

A rising star in the Democrat Party, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), 35, has piled up over $15 million in campaign funds. Most of it coming from out of state. — New York Post, July 19, 2025.
AOC, along with a few other Democrat notables, is becoming the new profile of the party.
Another fresh face and New York City candidate for mayor, is avowed Democrat/Socialist Zohran Kwame Mamdani, 33. He's presently the favored contestant. His radical calls for socialist type governance have received both praises and condemnations.
NYC is the nation's largest city and financial center of the United States. What happens there often impacts political and economic policies in other areas of the country.
The obvious change in Democrat Party thinking became a public concern when former President Joe Biden was suddenly yanked by party officials last July and replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris.
There was no Democrat Election Primary approving her nomination. The DNC simply anointed her without a vote of confidence from the electorate.
Joe's abysmal showing during the televised Presidential Debate last year between Biden and Trump was the last arrow in Joe's political quiver. It was determined he could not beat Trump and probably was no longer mentally competent for the job.
Finishing his single term as President on Jan. 20, 2025, he and Jill went home to Delaware.
Recently, during a Congressional Hearing, Joe's personal doctor refused to comment on his health, pleading the 5th Amendment instead. As did two other individuals associated with the Biden Administration.
Apparently, there's more secrecy in Joe's mental, physical health and private life issues than we were led to believe all these years. What is so incriminating that his fellow colleagues — under oath — are not willing to divulge?
Another coverup? We'll see, but don't expect to learn the truth from some kind of memoir Joe may release. After all, if it's already been determined he's just "an elderly man with a poor memory," how factual and unembellished can his life story be?
Joe's substitute, Kamala Harris, also failed to be elected and went home to California. She's also turned down a run for governor. Maybe, she's read the tea leaves and decided things don't look too good for that job either.
Winning the White House for the second time, Donald Trump is only the second President to regain the office after losing a reelection. He ran a third campaign and won in November, 2024, becoming the 45th and 47th President.
Grover Cleveland was the first President to win two non-consecutive terms — 22nd and 24th President in the 1890s.
However, the Democrat Party has taken a dramatic turn from being the "People's Party," concerned with the affairs of ordinary citizens, to representing the interests of special groups; illegal immigrants and open borders, abortion advocates, progressive taxation, LGBTQ and transgendered lifestyles, "Defund the police" promoters and no voting identification requirements, among other things.
The Dems continued drift toward socialism is an alarming trend that's attracted the concerns of older members. Particularly their advocacy for abolition of private property and state-run businesses proposals.
As a result, socialist-minded political candidates are becoming more noticeable. Their messages of peace and prosperity through government-controlled agencies is a myth that's been disproven virtually every time it's been tried.
No mystery why it fails — government lacks creativity, innovators, work inducements and prosperity incentives. It doesn't manufacture anything, is a top-down regulatory system dependent upon fees, taxes and a benevolent Congress to exist and slow to respond to a changing society.
The 50-plus years Joe Biden spent in Washington is a perfect example of how corruption and incompetency can evolve from a career minded young junior U.S. Senator all the way to becoming President without ever leaving the government's payroll or experiencing the ups and downs of the private sector.
Yet, certain aspects of government intervention are necessary — just not in the abundance and over regulation we have now.
Especially, when government has gotten us into a $37 trillion sink hole and a Congress that's perpetually fighting over a miniscule 1% reduction in spending.
Consequently, it's no surprise socialists insist they offer a better way. A patently false premise, but they're savvy enough to realize many people will fall for their sales-pitch, even though the brief life span of a socialist government usually ends in an agonizing collapse.
And, predictably, the hucksters of this mirage will abruptly move on to the next illusion whenever they sense the whole system is about to unravel. They're deceivers of a perverted ideology that's inherently flawed from the very beginning.
Figuratively, they will make sure they are on the last stage out of Tombstone, knowing full well it's a much better alternative than a burial plot in Boot Hill.
There're other scams to promote, people to fleece, money to be made and bogus narratives to tell — a podium on the campaign trail is the perfect stage to spout this moronic foolishness.
Besides, if a lot of people can be convinced Trump is Hitler, they'll just as easily swallow the myth Joe Biden was an honest politician with a functioning brain, Kamala Harris can finish a sentence without giggling and socialism is the popular wave of the future.
Sometimes, life isn't what it appears, nor are some of the characters pushing this gibberish. Their best interests are not necessarily your best interests. Often, it seems to be a sort of selfish "I'm gonna grab all I can while I can" mentality.
But, as we are seeing narcissism, money and quest for power can also be their downfall!
