"When the president guts all of the early warning systems and the weather forecast abilities of the government, these are the results that we're going to start to see on a daily basis because he's put this country in so much danger by his horrible, horrible decisions and this ridiculously immoral bill that he just signed into law." — Rosie O'Donnell, TikTok, July 6, 2025.

Before reading any further, it should be determined does anyone really care what Rosie O'Donnell thinks or says about anything?

"No!" is probably the overwhelming response. Followed by "Why should we?"

Just in case you missed it, Rosie was so upset with Donald Trump winning the 2024 election, that she packed up and moved to Ireland.

That's good for the USA — not so good for Ireland. I'm unsure they appreciate receiving a has-been comedian whose line of jokes are mostly on her.

Personally, I believe having Rosie dwelling an ocean away is still too close for comfort. Her befuddling comments and lack of rational thought still manage to invade our shores and pollute social media.

Further evidence that Trump Derangement Syndrome has gone global. Although in Rosie's case, I suspect she was already ill before boarding a plane for Dublin.

If she isn't suffering from acute TDS infection, then it must be something else with similar incapacitating characteristics.

A few other Hollywood folks have also fled, perhaps burdened by the thought that "Elections have consequences," as Barack Obama once commented.

Joe Biden tried to make a comparable remark but got tangled up with the words.

Of course, when Trump says it, everyone's ears perk up. Which might be a contributing factor why the U-Haul Company has seen increased business from California residents leaving the state. They've had enough of the liberal looniness.

That, and the fact a big slice of their communities has recently burned down.

Undoubtedly, Trump must have had something to do with it. Certainly not the lame-brained management skills of Los Angeles and California governments.

However, in Rosie's mind, the carnage from the Texas floods is, somehow, a direct result of President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill."

Wow, now there's a President who has finally forced Mother Nature to bend a knee and acquiesce to his commands. Next, he'll be summoning mountains to his office, parting seas and demanding creatures, great and small, acknowledge his supreme authority over all Earthly and galactic things — seen and unseen; real and imagined; factual and fictitious; present and non-present; now and later; forever and ever.

Or, as an old popular rock group's song reminds us "Every move you make, every breath you take, every bond you break, I'll be watching you." — The Police, 1983.

It's not beyond exaggeration that Republican President Trump has become the single greatest detested person in the history of the Democrat Party. No one else comes close.

Pissing them off even more, he's been elected twice!

How much more can a good Democrat take? They've impeached Donald John Trump a couple of times, had the FBI raid his Florida home, conducted false investigations, promoted multiple indictments and arrests, sought to financially destroy him with a string of expensive lawsuits, and were even nonchalant to at least two assassination attempts.

There have been "No Kings" and "Good Trouble" protests to vent Dems displeasure with the Trump Administration. Which, I guess, is an upgrade for Trump. Just a few weeks ago he was Hitler and his 75 million followers were constituents of the new Nazi Party.

There are 260 Democrat Members of Congress, and not a single one voted in favor of Trump's Big Beautiful Bill. Not one — a telling indication of the Dems' unanimous group-think, lock-step mentality.

On the other side, a couple of Repubs didn't care for a few of his ideas.

The Blue Party has absolutely become psychotic in their vilifications and intended eradication of a guy they despise beyond human imagination, to such an extent they refuse to endorse his proposed legislation that is beneficial to their own voters.

These are people representing about half the country, and none of them had the internal fortitude to cast a vote against party dogma.

After a decade of perpetual "We hate Trump and nothing else matters" diatribe, it's gone beyond boring. The monotonous chanting is putting people to sleep. To reawaken public interest, Dems have to come up with a new line. Beating a dead horse is not going to change anything.

Nevertheless, like the Eveready Bunny, Trump keeps going and going and it's driving the Dems crazy. Their skulls have split open, revealing a hollowed-out cavity void of compassion and mutual respect.

All this anguish and viciousness has accomplished what? Are Democrats any better for it, or are their politics and policies more appealing to the majority of voters?

Actually, it appears their motives are backfiring as their influence continues spastically spiraling downward. Old time Dems are dumbfounded at the rate of descent their party has taken with its ultra-progressive, socialist views and ideologies.

If they didn't criticize every word and action of Trump, they'd be limited to praising the glories of abortion, boys in girls' sports, gun control, continually boosting the climate change mantra, supporting transgender and LGBTQ rights and dumping everything else into the "racist" catch-all basket.

Much to their dismay, not everyone is enamored with their litany of grievances, or even convinced of their assumed sincerity.

So, when Rosie O'Donnell broadcasts from Ireland that Trump is the primary cause for everything gone wrong in America, including "gutting all of the early warning weather systems" in Texas, one has to ask "Rosie, where do you get your information?"

It certainly isn't from the National Weather Service who actually did their job by sending out early warning messages several hours before the floods hit.

Nor, were thousands of volunteers and Texas government agencies delayed by Trump's alleged "horrible, horrible decisions" as Rosie seems to believe.

And it was the Trump Administration which activated relief and assistance efforts shortly after he was made aware of the disaster.

Unlike the inept Biden Administration fumbling the East Palestine, Ohio chemical train derailment a few years ago, or stalling FEMA relief efforts during Hurricane Helene in North Carolina in 2024. President Trump promptly expedited federal aid to the Texas region.

To compare Biden's pathetic delayed response in national emergency situations — except when he sent billions of dollars and military aid to Ukraine — to Trump's immediate deployment of assistance, is like equating a slow-moving sloth to the sprinter abilities of a swift cheetah.

The speedy cat has already accomplished his task before the sloth realizes what is going on.

Put another way, Joe was dozing off in the middle of the morning while Donald's been up for hours, figuring ways to fix things.

Oh well, Joe's no longer a White House tenant, his term in office cancelled by the Democratic National Committee last July. Now, he'll forever be remembered as simply an unpleasant pause between Trump's two terms. Regardless of what son, Hunter, is proclaiming, he lost his free lunch ticket when Daddy lost his candidacy.

Kamala took Joe's place. She was cancelled by the voters in November. Haven't heard much from her since. Maybe she's back flipping burgers at McDonalds to help pay off the millions of dollars of campaign bills she owes.

According to Lindy Li of the DNC finance committee, Harris' brief campaign was a "$1 billion disaster" that ended $20 million in debt. — Newsweek, Nov. 11, 2024.

The obvious question is "In only about three months' time, where did all the money go?"

Rosie O'Donnell, 62, was a comedian and TV talk-show host years ago. She's also an LGBTQ activist.

Consequently, it's no surprise things sometimes get kind of quirky when political opinions and unsubstantiated views cloud facts and common sense.

Rosie is entitled to her opinions, like everyone else. She's also free to move to another country as an expression of discontent.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of Hollywood talk about it, but not much follow through. Excepting the 12-15 million illegal aliens who have paraded into our country looking for freebies and other handouts. Many of them squatting in the Hollywood-Los Angeles "sanctuary" area.

Maybe, they should try Ireland, instead. Since Rosie is obviously distraught over the immigration debacle, she should welcome a few dozen of them into her home!
