The facts of cultural history, including the Bible, argue that it may be so. Susan Golightly will lead this discussion about the various “transgender” people who have always existed in almost all societies, and how these various societies often referred to these “transgender” people as a third gender. The hope of this discussion is to bring a better understanding and acceptance of people who identify as being outside of the gender binary, i.e. man and woman. Since this is a Fifth Sunday there will be a dedicated offertory for the UU Community of El Paso (UUCEP). They recently suffered a fire to their building & insurance will not cover all of their needs to rebuild. There will be coffee and conversation after the service and visitors are welcome.
