On May 3, 2022, a panel of speakers will speak to the Rotary club. The topic will be “The Challenges Churches are Facing Today and some of the Interesting Ways They are Meeting Them.” The panel of speakers will include Rotarian Thomas Bates, deacon at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Church; Reverend Jared Secret, pastor of the First Methodist Church, and Sherrie Lavelle, elder at the First Presbyterian Church.
The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 12 noon until 1 p.m. in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria, second floor of the Student Union Building. There is a brief “meet and greet”, then a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. Guests are asked to contribute $10.00 if they want a hot lunch with salad, dessert and coffee.
This meeting and future meetings will be hybrid. Email email@example.com to obtain the Zoom link. This enables people to attend via Zoom if unable to attend in person.
