Sunday, June 19, 2022, 02:00pm - 04:00pm

“After the success of ‘Bug’ at the Mainstreet Plaza last December, SCCT Youth Theatre Project is committed to keeping the theatre momentum going for youth drama programs in Grant County. This summer we're offering workshop-style auditions for young players, ages 8-12 and 13-17 for lead roles in a September production of 'The Giver’, as well as an original production to be performed at the Hummingbird Festival on July 30 and 31,” says Silver City Community Theatre (SCCT) Artistic Director, Wendy Spurgeon.

”Auditions consist of theatre games, and cold readings from the scripts, no appointment or preparation necessary. Drop by Starlight Theatre, 1915 N. Gold St. on Sunday, June 19 between 2 and 4 pm, and Tuesday, June 21 between 10 am and noon. Contact SCCT Artistic Director, Wendy Spurgeon, at (575)297-7851 for more information.”
