Ron Green at the Rotary Club Meeting

Ron Green, who will be speaking at the Rotary Club’s meeting on November 1, is the Chief Clinics Operations Officer at GRMC. He has been the Clinical Director (of Nursing) at Gila Regional Medical Center since June 2019. He earned degrees in nursing and accounting from WNMU. He previously worked in GRMC as a registered nurse from 1995 till 2009. From 2007-2009 he was also the Director of Infection Control and Employee Health. He then worked as chief accountant at the New Tribes Mission in Papua, New Guinea. Upon his return to the United States he worked as a nurse and nursing supervisor in Tennessee before returning to Silver City to take on his present position at GRMC.
The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. for lunch in the WNMU Student Memorial Building, Second Floor, Sunset Room. There is a brief “meet and greet”, a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. Guests are requested to contribute $10.00 if they want a hot lunch with salad, dessert and coffee.
