Silver City, NM – Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is proud to announce the completion of its new Emergency Department Nursing Station, a project made possible through the generous support of the GRMC Foundation.
The new nursing station provides a centralized workspace designed to improve safety, communication, coordination, and efficiency within the Emergency Department, helping caregivers remain focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Funded through the GRMC Foundation, the project highlights the Foundation's ongoing commitment to investing in resources and improvements that directly benefit patients, caregivers, and the communities served by GRMC.
"This new nursing station is an investment in both our patients and our caregivers," said Robert Whitaker, CEO. "We are grateful to the GRMC Foundation for making this project possible. Their generosity helps us continue providing high-quality, compassionate care for our community."
"This is a much-needed improvement, and we're glad the GRMC Foundation could help support the project," said Jim Callender, President of the GRMC Foundation. "The difference from 30 years ago is incredible, and this investment will provide valuable support for our nurses while enhancing the hospital for years to come."
