Western New Mexico University (WNMU) announces open registration for the Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 semesters. Current and prospective students are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred course schedules and ensure a seamless start to the upcoming academic year.
Summer Session:
Classes Begin (Session A and B): Monday, Jun 1
Classes Begin Session C: Wednesday, July 1
New Student Orientation August 12-13
Fall Session: Classes begin Monday, August 17
Students may register online via the Mustang Express portal or in person at the Office of the Registrar, located in the Juan Chacon Building on the Silver City campus.
WNMU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs both on-campus and online. Academic advisors are available to assist students in mapping out their degree paths and selecting courses that align with their professional goals.
New students are encouraged to complete their admissions application at wnmu.edu/apply prior to registering. Financial aid and scholarship opportunities remain available for those who qualify; students should visit the WNMU Financial Aid office or website for deadline information.
Current students can self-register through Mustang Express or schedule an appointment with an academic advisor.
