CLAY Festival begins unfolding across Grant County this June with opening receptions, community events, workshops, and special programming leading up to festival week.
Here are a few upcoming events, registration opportunities, and early June happenings to plan for.
First Friday Opening Receptions
Friday, June 5 • 5–7 PM
Join us for opening receptions across downtown Silver City during First Friday, including:
Convergence — juried exhibition at Light Art SpaceDivergence — featuring work by this year's headlining artists in the Flash Gallery at Light Art SpaceFinding Flow — soft opening reception
Kids + Community Events
Saturday, June 6 • Bayard Public Library • 11am-1:30 PM
Create and decorate a clay mask in this free hands-on activity for kids and families. Finished masks will be fired and available for pickup during CLAY Market June 20th & 21st.
